I would 'take' any West Ham silverware over England 100% but luckily you dont actually have to choose. You can support both of them, they are not mutually exclusive. Just because someone is passionate about England, doesnt make them less of a West Ham fan, each to their own.

Who is implying that?

Noted during extra time that I was not feeling the same tension as I would normally do watching West Ham. Some, and wanting to win, but just not as much.

For me, watching international football (which I don't) would come somewhere below watching a game between two teams, the result of which has some sort of impact on West Ham.

I wouldn't do that either - if Teletext was still available, I'd use that to keep an eye on the result though.

I definitely get much, much more nervous watching West Ham than England.

Watching England frustrates me more than anything. Probably because for 90% of the time I hate most of the cunts playing for England because they are West Ham's rivals.

I know England fans that can completely turn off the club thing when they support England. I have a slight issue with this. But that's just me.

It is, on the BBC, via the red button.

Boring, repetitive topic. Fuck off.

Most on here complain about everything West Ham related, but that conveniently seems to have been forgotten. Just remember this after we lose a few games next season.

Here's an idea, just enjoy the football or dont enjoy the football. The posturing is unnecessary.

All I know is we are playing the Italians and there’s no fucking way we want to lose this one.

I am proud and as pleased as any English person this morning that we have reached a major final after 55 years. But I am West Ham and West Ham will always come first.

with the slight caveat that I'd be lying if i said i was comfortable with the idea of a statue of Harry KANE being next to Bobby MOORE

Hopefully, if we do win it, we can get the same guy who did the Ronaldo bust at Madeira airport for Kane.

I passionately support both England and West Ham equally.

I hope that's 'allowed'.

Re: club over country
Simple. I was nervous last night and my heart was thumping, am still a bit emotional now. Was only one when England won the WC so for me and most others this is a new experience.
However when West Ham score I go crazy. The result will affect my mood for days and a relegation for months.
When England score I say GOAL or YES, when they lose I shrug my shoulders and can laugh it off ruefully.

Those that follow clubs year in year out along with the pain are the real fans, the sheep in England tops who normally couldn't give a shit about football but are now going completely mental are not football fans, they are bandwagon jumping England fans.

Be great to win it though.
